Neighborhood Meeting for Upcoming Sanitary Sewer Work
PROJECT DESCRIPTION:
This project will include the installation of approximately 1,800 linear feet of new 8-inch sanitary sewer main, connections to existing mains, construction of new sanitary manholes, construction of new sanitary laterals to each parcel, abandonment of existing sanitary sewer mains, sewer laterals, and sanitary sewer manholes.
LOCATION:
The City of Tybee Island will tentatively start the replacement of the existing sanitary sewer and laterals on December 1, 2025 on the following Street segments:
- Pulaski Street – Pearwood Street to Taylor Street
- Pearwood Street – Taylor Street to Pulaski Street
- Dogwood Avenue – Pearwood Street to Pulaski Street
- Taylor Street – Pearwood Street to Pulaski Street
PUBLIC INFORMATIONAL MEETING:
The City of Tybee Island will host a public informational meeting to discuss the project in detail, including the schedule and construction stage and answer any questions from the residents regarding the project.
